Google - Getting personal?

Recently Google rolled out it's new personalised search results. This
basically means Google is always collecting information about what you search
for from your computer. They do this to help them provide more personalised
search results for the user. Unfortunately many users may not want their
personal data or search history to be logged by Google and most people
do not even know it is happening.

If you have any concerns about Google monitoring your search history
there is a way to turn off the personalised search.
In the right hand corner of your Google results page click on web history... this page gives you the option to turn it off.

We hope this information has been useful to you and don't forget to
check back in at thenet.ie for all the latest internet news.
