Well the title tag kind of gives it away, you need to know that your rankings in 2017 are different now, mobile results are different to desktop results, not by much but they are different, also if someone is in North Dublin on a desktop and someone is in South Dublin and lets just say they type in “emergency plumber” each result will be different. With this in mind please take note that local is going to be a major factor to combat as is mobile vs desktop.
User experience is going to be massive, if your website is poor and does not provide visitors with an experience that they don’t like and come straight out of, be prepared to experience a drop in your rankings – google launched rankbrain last year and this is basically an AI system that helps Google to process search results and provide more relevant search results for users. In a 2015 interview, Google commented that RankBrain was the third most important factor in the ranking algorithm along with links and content – make sure that your website provides a great user experience
Speed is going to factor if your website is taking to long to load then you really need to make sure this is addressed quickly , make sure that mobile and desktop are up to speed that google recommends.
